Cajeput organic essential oil (bot. Melaleuca leucandendra var. Cajuputi) has a fresh, spicy, eucalyptus-like fragrance and is a top note.
The fragrance theme is liberating, clarifying and cleansing. It is obtained by steam distillation from the leaf part of the plant.
In aromatherapy, it is used in correspondingly low doses for children and babies from the age of 6 months, as it serves as a mild oil in the cold season. Its soothing properties are often used for warming ear compresses, soothing chest rubs and massage oils.
