The evacuation sheet is used in facilities with people who are permanently bedridden. In a rescue situation, it can be pulled out of the danger zone by a person extremely easily and safely over all types of floors and stairs.

The Petermann evacuation sheet is placed in the middle of the bed directly on the bed frame. The ventilation openings punched across the entire surface of the sheet allow even ventilation in the spaces between the mattress and the insert frame.

In the event of a rescue situation, two safety belt buckles are used to quickly and easily create a plug-in connection via the cross side of the mattress and the belt is tightened with the loose end and then pulled as tight as possible. This creates a safe, protective U-shaped mattress for the person lying down.

The mattress is pulled out of the bed using large belt handles at the head or foot end and also in the middle of the two long sides and placed on the floor in a safe zone. The evacuation sheet is particularly suitable for window rescue.
