The Intrafix Primeline device includes:

- P-type infusion devices (Pressure) – for gravity and pressure infusions with compatible (non-dedicated) infusion pumps (pressure-resistant up to 2 bar according to ISO 8536-8)
Description:
- Three-part drip chamber with:
- Sharp piercing spike for easy insertion
- Manual venting valve with integrated venting filter (bacterial and viral filtration efficiency) to prevent microbial contamination during venting of the solution container
- Transparent dome with integrated macro-dropper (20 drops per 1 ml) for continuous visual monitoring of infusion solution flow rate
- Flexible pump chamber for easy and quick adjustment of the liquid level
- Liquid filter (filter membrane) at the bottom of the drip chamber:
- Pore size of 15 µm for protection against large particles
- Tube
- Dimensions: 3 x 4.1 mm; 180 cm
- Pressure-resistant up to 2 bar and compatible with infusion pumps designed for a 3 x 4.1 mm tube

- The usage duration depends on the intended therapy according to the specialized product information for the medication or solution.
- In general, infusion devices should be changed according to national recommendations (e.g., KRINKO recommendations) and/or the institution’s internal guidelines.
- IV administration pressure sets (P) should be replaced no later than 24 hours when used with an infusion pump.
