Omnifix® disposable syringes: intended use
With Omnifix® B Braun offers a wide range of three-part disposable syringes with Luer and Luer-Lock approaches in different sizes. When using our product, the current intended purpose must be observed:
· Aspiration and injection of fluids in conjunction with a suitable medical device via a clinically adequate access
· Preparation of medicinal products for an infusion solution in combination with a suitable medical device according to the valid RCP of the medicinal product
· Extraction of body fluids and tissues by aspiration with a suitable medical device
B. Braun Omnifix® single-use syringes are suitable for intravascular, intramuscular, subcutaneous, intracutaneous, intrathecal, intranasal, intraurethral, intravaginal, aspiration and injection as well as joint and soft tissue injections.
The Omnifix® single-use syringes are to be used according to the purpose of the intended therapy (for example, in the context of infusion therapy, injection therapy, nutritional therapy, extraction of body fluids and tissues). There is no restriction on the application regarding age and gender. The Omnifix® disposable syringes can be used in adults, children and newborns.
Suitable for single use only, not for storage; application should be done immediately after the application. Material composition: Syringe cylinder and syringe piston made of polypropylene, smooth-running piston plug made of
synthetic rubber with double seal ring, lubricant: oleamide acid, silicone oil.Not made with bisphenol A, latex, DEHP and PVC.
