Training arm for intravenous injection

The model consists of soft synthetic material with an exchangeable skin in addition to an exchangeable injection site on the elbow, in which the median elbow vein (median cubital vein) is represented by a tube. The vein is visible under the skin and can additionally be easily palpated. The tension of the skin and the characteristics of the occluded vein is imitated in an approximately true to life manner. The model is characterized particularly by the possibility of compressing the vein realistically and of simulating a roll vein via the application of lubricant.
